LT 100 2 NIGHTS MASAAI MARA (3 DAYS)
DAY 2: A full day game viewing in the Masaai Mara Game Reserve. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the campsite.
DAY 3: Early morning game drive before breakfast and then proceed to Nairobi with picnic lunch en route and arriving Nairobi in the afternoon.
LT 101 3 NIGHTS MASAAI MARA (4 DAYS)
DAY 1: Leave Nairobi at 0900 hrs. heading through Kikuyu country over the edge of the escarpment and in the Great Rift Valley. The drive takes us via Mt. Suswa through Narok Town with a stop over for Lunch before proceeding to the Masaai Mara Game Reserve. We proceed for game viewing. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
DAY 2 - 3: Two full days game viewing. All meals and overnight at the campsite.
DAY 4: Drive to Nairobi after breakfast with a stop at Narok Town. Souvenirs can be purchased here. Lunch en route arriving Nairobi late evening.
LT 102 4 NIGHTS MASAAI MARA/LAKE NAKURU (5 DAYS)
DAY 1: Leave Nairobi at 0900 hrs. via the Great Rift Valley for Masaai Mara Game Reserve. Proceed for an exciting search for black manned Lions, Elephant, Leopard, Cheetah, Buffalo and other plains game. Return late in the evening to the camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 2-3: Full day game viewing. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the campsite.
DAY 4: Early morning game drive. Depart Masaai Mara after breakfast and arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch. Then an afternoon game drive with a chance to visit the lake and see the thousands of flamingoes and other birdlife. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 5: After breakfast proceed for game drive. After lunch leave Nakuru for Nairobi arriving in the evening.
LT 103 2 NIGHTS AMBOSELI (3 DAYS)
DAY 1: 0900 hrs. Depart from Nairobi. Drive through Masaailand to Amboseli National Park, which faces one of the most famous landmarks in the world, the photographer's paradise at the foot of the snow-capped Mt. Kilimanjaro. Arrive at lunchtime. This area is great for viewing Elephants, Zebra, Buffalo and sometimes a good chance of seeing the Cheetah. We camp out under the stars. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
DAY 2: 0630 hrs. An early morning game drive and phtographing. Breakfast at the camp. After breakfast game viewing in the park. After lunch proceed for a further game drive in search of Lions, Cheetah, Elephants, Buffaloes, Rhino and numerous species of plain games. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
DAY 3: Pre-breakfast game drive, return to the camp for full breakfast. Leave for Nairobi arriving around 12.00 noon.
LT 104 7 NIGHTS TURKANA (TRUCK VIA LAKE BARINGO) (8 DAYS)
Departs Fridays twice a month.
Leave Nairobi in a specially designed 4 x 4 truck for 20 persons only. Safari to "Vanishing Africa" and takes you to sparkling waters of Jade Sea - Lake Turkana. A wonderland of fact and fantasy combined for spectacular extra travel experiences. The scientific marvels about the cradle of mankind intrigues the imagination and the eye.
DAY 1: Depart Nairobi stopping to view the Great Rift Valley. Lunch at Nakuru. Overnight at Lake Baringo Campsite.
DAY 2: Drive further North to the Samburu Town of Maralal to South Horr for an overnight stay.
DAY 3: The rough road gets worse as we descend across ancient lava flows towards the Jade Sea and Oasis of Loyengelani lying between the lake and towering Mount Kulel. Overnight at Lake Turkana Campsite.
DAY 4: A whole day exploring and resting at Loyengelani and El Molo Bay. Overnight at the Lake Turkana Campsite.
DAY 5: We descend out in the morning chill towards Mt. Maralal and the red ochred Samburu people still nomad and proud. Meals and overnight at Maralal campsite.
DAY 6: Drive to Samburu National Park. After lunch and perhaps a cool swim, take a game drive to look for distinctive northern species of game. Overnight at Samburu Campsite.
DAY 7: A whole day spent in such distinctive northern species of game. Overnight at the Campsite.
DAY 8: A long drive enjoying the beauty of Mt. Kenya, the Aberdare ranges and large scale farming arriving back to Nairobi late in the evening.
IMPORTANT
DAY 1: Leave Nairobi for Amboseli Game Reserve at 0900 hrs. in a 9 seater minibus arriving in time for lunch at Amboseli. Proceed for a game drive. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 2: Proceed for an early morning pre-breakfast game drive at 0603 hrs. then return to the campsite for breakfast. Proceed for a further game drive at 1030 hrs. and you will have lunch at the campsite. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
DAY 3: Break up camp at 930 hrs. and proceed to Tsavo West National Park, game viewing en-route. Lunch at Shaitani Lava flow. Set up camp. Proceed for game drive after luch and visit the Mzima Springs to view Hippos, Crocodiles and varied fish species. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
DAY 4: Prebreakfast game drive. After breakfast proceed to Nairobi or to Mombasa.
LT 106 6 NIGHTS SAMBURU / LAKE NAKURU / MASAAI MARA (7 DAYS)
A safari to the north of the Equator with a chance to view Mt. Kenya and game viewing in Samburu for animals not found in the South via Lake Nakuru. We climax the tour of Masaai Mara being Kenya's greatest concentration fo wildlife.
DAY 1: Depart our Nairobi office at 0900 hrs. and drive through the central highlands of Kenya, covered by coffee and tea plantations. We pass via Mt. Kenya where you have a chance of taking photographs of the snow-capped mountain on a clear day. Lunch at a Nanyuki hotel. Arrive at Samburu in the evening for a short game drive. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
DAY 2: After an early breakfast, go for a game drive returning in time for lunch. Afternoon is spent in search of game like the Dik Dik, Bufallo, Grevy's Zebra and the long necked Gerenuk. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
DAY 3: After breakfast proceed to Nakuru via Thompson Falls - Nyahururu. Arrive in the afternoon and go for a game drive where Flamingoes and other bird species and wildlife can be seen. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
DAY 4: After breakfast at a hotel in Nakuru, drive through the floor of the Great Rift Valley. A short stop at Narok Town for lunch and then climb the Western Wall, to arrive Masaai Mara Game Reserve in time for an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
DAY 5: From the base camp, explore the Mara region inhabited by Elephants, Zebras, Lions, Thinos and other game throughout the year, with spectacular Wildbeest migration from Serengeti mainly in July and August. Visit Masaai village at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.
DAY 6: After morning breakfast, a 3 hour walk outside the game reserve with the help of Masaai guides. Early lunch at the campsite with an afternoon siesta. Late evening game viewing with Dinner and overnight at the camp.
DAY 7: Early morning game drive and late breakfast then drive to Nairobi, arriving late in the afternoon.
LT 107 4 NIGHTS MT. KENYA (5 DAYS)
DAY 1: Naro Moru - Sirimon Route - Depart with your guide at 0900 hrs. for Naro Moru town. Lunch at the hostel and the rest of the day spent acclimatising. Enjoy dinner and overnight at the hostel.
DAY 2: Met Point - After breakfast drive to the main gate (1600 m) and start ascending the mountain through bamboo zones and rain forest where Leopards are common. After 10 kms reach Met Station (3300 m). Dinner and overnight.
DAY 3: Machinder's Camp - Continue ascension after breakfast through bog and giant heather to Machinder's Camp. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 4: Point Lenant - Early morning at 0230 hrs. attempt Point Lenana (4995 m) via Austrian Hut. You can see Mt.
Kilimanjaro on a clear day. After sucessfully reaching the summit descend to Shipton Camp (4200 m) for breakfast and then to Old Moses (3500 m) for dinner and overnight.
DAY 5: After breakfast walk to the gate to catch transport to Nairobi where the tour ends having conquered Mt. Kenya.

LT 108 7 NIGHTS TURKANA TRUCK VIA CHALBI DESERT (8 DAYS)
Departs Fridays twice a month.
This rugged 1,800 km. expedition in a purposely-built truck takes you up into the heart of the Northern Frontier District. You will traverse along some of Africa's worst roads, see beautiful mountain forest surrounded on all sides by hot dusty deserts, eventually arriving at the Jade Sea (Lake Turkana). You will see a great variety of tribes and cross the Chalbi Desert if dry. Druing the rains it becomes an enormous shallow lake.
DAY 1: Samburu - Depart Nairobi in the morning heading North via the shoulder of Mr. Kenya to Samburu Game Reserve. Accommodation in our permanent campsite beautifully set under a canopy of trees on the edge of Uaso Nyiro River.
DAY 2: Samburu - The day is spent game viewing in the park. Elephants abound; you may see Lions, reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk, Grevy's Zebra and Oryx.
DAY 3: Marsabit - We head north again along the African Highway to Marsabit, which is an extinct volcano heavily forested on its upper slopes. After setting up camp, we visit the lodge inside the National Park. You will see Elephants, Buffaloes and Kudu as the lodge is situated on the edge of water filled crater. We do not go further into the park as thick forest hampers the progress of larger vehicles and viewing is difficult.
DAY 4: Kalacha - We visit Marsabit Town and another volcanic crater before making our way back into the desert and lava flows. We camp at Kalacha, a small settlement on the edge of the Chalbi Desert.
DAY 5: Lake Turkana - We depart early crossing the Chalbi Desert. The desert cannot be crossed if wet. There are alternative roads around the north and the south. We arrive at our permanent beach campsite just outside Loiyangalani soon after lunch and settle in our traditional Turkana Huts with a cool breeze blowing from the Lake. Indeed a perfect place to relax the harsh climate of this remote area.
DAY 6: Turkana - We spend the day relaxing and bathing only interrupted by a short boat excursion to visit the surrounding areas. In addition, we visit Loiyangalani and the community settled there while in the evening we may visit one of the Turkana Manyattas for traditional dances under a star stubbed sky at an extra cost if clients wish. Unforgettable experience.
DAY 7: Maralal - We journey via South Horr and Baragoi to Maralal, another forested area. The Samburu abound in their red-ochre.
DAY 8: Nairobi - Heading South again via Laikipia Plains and Thompson Falls (Nyahururu) back into Nairobi by late afternoon.
