    MT. KILIMANJARO CLIMB

Many visitors to Tanzania, seeing Mt. Kilimanjaro for the first time, wonder what it must be like to climb to the roof of Africa and look down from the summit at 5,895m/19,342ft. Any reasonably fit person able to manage some stiff walking for five days can make the trek to the top. There are various routes of which the Marangu is easiest and Machame more difficult and suiting more experienced mountain walkers.

A tree climbing lion Accommodation on the Marangu route is in mountain huts whilst on other routes in high altitude tents. Our Kilimanjaro climbs include all accommodation, tents (where applicable), food, a guide and porters. One of these members of staff is also the cook. Equipment such as sleeping bags, walking sticks, rucksacks, waterbottles etc. are not included but can be hired at the base hotel.
