DAY 2: Drive to Samburu National Reserve for morning game drive viewing and lunch at Samburu Lodge. Afternoon game viewing enroute to Shaba. Overnight at Sarova Shaba Lodge. DAY 3: Morning drive to Outspan Hotel for lunch. Transfer for an afternoon and a night of game viewing at the famous Treetops. DAY 4: After breakfast at the Outspan Hotel return to Nairobi arriving around noon. LT 12 2 NIGHTS MASAAI MARA - (3 DAYS)
DAY 2: Start the day with an early breakfast and set for a game drive in search of the Big Five i.e. Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard. Other different species of wildlife are found here. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge/lodge of your choice. DAY 3: After breakfast leave for Nairobi arriving at around noon. LT 13 3 NIGHTS LAKE NAKURU/MASAAI MARA (4 DAYS)
Day 2: Early morning drive past the extinct volcano of Mt. Longonot. Arrive at the famous Masaai Mara Game Reserve. After lunch enjoy an afternoon of game viewing. Overnight at Mara Serena Lodge/lodge of your choice. DAY 3: After breakfast morning game drive with lunch at the lodge. Uninterrupted afternoon game drive in the popular Reserve renowned for its large numbers of plain game such as Wildebeest and Zebra and its majestic predators. DAY 2: After breakfast cross dramatic volcanic formations at Shaitani Lava flow to arrive in Tsavo West for lunch. Afternoon game viewing. Dinner and Overnight at Kilanguni Lodge. DAY 3: After breakfast drive to the steep and fertile Taita Hills between Tsavo and Voi for game viewing arriving at Taita Hills for lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and Overnight at the Lodge. DAY 2: After breakfast at the Outspan Hotel drive via Nyahururu Falls to Lake Naivasha Country Club for lunch. In the afternoon continue to the Masaai Mara National Reserve for overnight at Sarova Mara Lodge. DAY 3: Morning and afternoon game viewing. Overnight at Sarova Lodge/Lodge of your choice. DAY 4: After breakfast, drive to Nairobi arriving around noon. After lunch drive via Namanga to Amboseli National Park. Overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge/lodge of your choice. DAY 5: Morning and afternoon game viewing. Overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge/lodge of your choice. DAY 6: After breakfast, drive via Shaitani lava flow to Tsavo West National Park. DAY 2: Spend the day viewing Elephants, Lions, and northern specialities such as the Gerenuk, Beisa Oryz and Grevy Zebras. Observe Crocodiles sunning on the sand bank or snapping their jaws during the evening feed. Overnight at the lodge. DAY 3: After breakfast, drive around the Aberdares and descend into the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch. Afternoon game viewing. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge. DAY 4: After breakfast, continue across the floor of the Great Rift Valley to Masaai Mara National Reserve for lunch, afternoon game viewing, dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge/lodge of your choice. DAY 5-6: Sunrise over the open grassland signals the start of a full day on the game-filled plains, photograph the stately black manned Lion, Cheetah, or Leopard, stocking defenseless herds of Wildbeest and other herbivores. DAY 2: After breakfast at base hotel, continue north across the Equator to the semi-desert region of Samburu, arriving at the Shaba Lodge for lunch. DAY 6: After breakfast, experience the dramatic landscape of the Great Rift Valley on your way to the Masaai Mara for game viewing and overnight at the Mara Serena Lodge/lodge of your choice. DAY 7: As the day breaks, enjoy fantastic game viewing of the teeming wildlife that roams the rolling grasslands. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge/lodge of your choice. DAY 8: Set out after breakfast for Nairobi arriving around noon. LT 21 7 NIGHTS WESTERN KENYA (8 DAYS)
DAY 2: Lake Victoria - This is a great tourist attraction in western Kenya. Full day of leisure by the lake to explore various parts of the town, visit Kisumu Museum, which is located just off the main road to Nairobi, Impala National Park, Hippo Point, Dunga Beach, Riat Hills and the Snake House with its venomous inmates which were captured from Kakamega Forest. Return for lunch, a relaxed afternoon and overnight at Sunset Hotel/hotel of your choice. DAY 3 & 4: Rusinga Island - Depart from the Hotel at 9.00 a.m. for Ruma National Park, which was created as a reserve in 1966 to protect the only remaining habitat of the Roan antelope. The Park is in Lambwe Valley in south Nyanza, 140 kms. from Kisumu. Game to view includes:- Bohor's Reedbuck, Rothchild's Giraffe, Jackson's Hartebeest among others. Lunch at Homa Bay Tourist Hotel proceed to Thimlich Ohinga Archaelogical site in south Nyanza. After visiting the site continue to Rusinga Island. For Nile Perch fishing. In the evening. Dinner and overnight at the Camp. DAY 5: Rusinga - Kisumu - After breakfast, depart for Kisumu arrive In time for lunch at Sunset Hotel or Hotel Royale. Proceed to Kaloka Beach where you can take a boat from Kenya Wildlife Services for Ndere Island National Park which is rich in large Crocodiles, Aquatic life, Water Fowls, Dinner and overnight at Sunset Hotel or Hotel Royale in Kisumu. DAY 6: Kisumu - Kakamega - Mt. Elgon - After breakfast, We proceed to Kakamega town where we pass through scenic view of the hilly countryside. Early lunch at Golf Hotel, then proceed to Kakamega Forest National Reserve which is the only tropical rain forest in Kenya left out from the past millenia. The trees create a complete enviroment for the birds, insects and butterflies. The forest includes some of Africa's greatest hard and soft wood. Kakamega offers excellent primate viewing - black and white colobus monkeys are in plenty. Dinner and overnight stay at the Golf Hotel. DAY 7: Kakamega - Mt. Elgon - After an early breakfast depart for Kitale to visit Saiwa swamp National park which is one of the smallest parks only 3 sq km. Opened in 1974 to protect the semi-aquatic Sitatunga antelope notable for its wide spread hooves which allow it to walk on the surface of swamp, It is also home of the endangered De Brazza monkey. After having a packed lunch proceed to Mt. Elgon on the Kenya Uganda border. It is one of the most beautiful still wild and intact vast areas of untouched forest. Besides wildlife and birdlife a major attraction is a series of four caves all of which are explorable. Dinner and overnight at the Camp. DAY 8: Mt. Elgon - Nairobi - After an early breakfast, walk on the alpine moorelands and again visit the famous elephant caves. Depart to Nairobi with lunch at Eldoret. On your way to Nairobi see the beautiful great rift valley. Arrive in Nairobi late in the evening.
