Uganda has a total of two mountainous national parks. That are Rwenzori mountains national park and Elgon mountains national park. Semuliki national park is found at the base of the Rwenzori mountains; it is simply a forested national park that is rarely explored. The main activity there is a visit to the hot springs.

Rwenzori Mountains National Park
